Itinerary:                   Departure: 09.00 AM.
DAY 1:
Reception at Iquitos airport, Round Trip transfer and a short city tour. Transfer to the main harbor to meet with our speed boat and visit the floating thatch roof house  in the district of “Belen”, located on the edge of the Itaya river (From November to July). Continue traveling down the Amazon River we will arrive to our ecological reserve “Cumaceba Lodge. The reception will be with a welcome drink made of a regional fruit , Accommodation in the bungalows with private bathrooms, Jungle walk in the forest to see flora and fauna in the reserve. Typical lunch.
In the afternoon we will take a ride on the Amazon River to look for gray and pink fresh water dolphins.  Visit to a small zoo, then enjoy the  sunset on the Amazon River. Dinner and night canoe ride to hear rainforest typical sounds in Shansho Lake. Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 2:
Early morning, jungle walk for bird watching. Breakfast, and excursion to visit a Yagua Indian Village to see their typical clothing and hear their own dialect, see how they use the blowgun, typical dances. Also you can  buy or trade their handy craft.  Typical lunch. Return to Iquitos. Transfer at hotel or airport.

At night a jungle walk excursion, to hear the sound of the rain forest animals and to find several nocturnal insects and frogs. Dinner and over night in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 2:
An early morning jungle walk for bird watching. After breakfast we will visit the “Yagua” Indian Village, to see their typical clothing and hear their own dialect, see how they use the blowgun, typical dances, also  we can buy or trade their handy craft.  Typical lunch self service. Tour by the Amazon River visiting a small zoo to see animals like: sloths, monkeys, turtles, the famous Anacondas “Constrictor, (non poisonous)   After another chance to see the beautiful Amazonian Sunset, we go on a nocturnal lake excursion in canoes, to Hear rainforest typical sounds.  Dinner and over night in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 03:
An early canoe ride for bird watching in their natural habitat on the “Shansho Lake” our biological area. After breakfast we continue the excursions walking by a secondary trail to see the river side  Villages, farms and see the way the local people live. Walk to the Yanayacu River for canoe ride, piranha fishing (as well as other species of Amazon fish), Also bird watching. Next we do the way back walking by primary rainforest. Typical lunch and return to Iquitos. Transfer at the hotel or airport.

Dinner and over night in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 2:
Early morning canoe ride for bird watching in their natural habitat of the “Shansho lagoon” our biological area.  Breakfast, and visit to the “Yagua” Village  to see their native customs and hear their own dialect, demonstration of old way of typical hunting with the “Pucuna” or Blowgun”. Possibility to buy or trade handy crafts before a typical lunch. After lunch, a tour on the Amazon river visiting a local rescue center  with  varieties of animals like: sloths, monkeys, turtles, the famous Anaconda Constrictor, (non poisonous!)   Amazon Sunset, nocturnal excursion in canoe by the lagoon to hear  the tropical rainforest  sounds. 
Dinner and over night in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 03:
Breakfast. Amazon trip visiting a private conservation project of Arapaima gigas- Paiche (The largest  fresh –water fish in the Amazon River). Caimans and Victoria Regia, lily pads. Return to Cumaceba Lodge. Tour in canoe with paddle special for Photos. Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 4:
Breakfast and canoe ride with paddle. We visit another lake to fish for piranhas, cat fish, fresh water tropical fish, after which we will return to the Lodge and have a typical lunch self service. Return To Iquitos. Transfer at hotel or airport.

Jungle visit to the Yagua community, observing typical dresses ( grass skirt) their native language and  life styles. Blowgun demonstration and the way how they hunt in times gone by, handicrafts commerce or trading. Typical lunch. Amazon journey to visit a family conservation animal shelter  with: sloths, monkeys, turtles, anacondas and  constrictor boas. Grey and pink river dolphins watching. Night excursion by canoe to hear rainforest typical sounds.. Dinner. Overnight in cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 3:
Cumaceba Lodge – Monkey Island.
Breakfast. Amazon trip to visit a private Monkey Conservation Project with different endangered species like maquisapa, Choro, Huapo Negro y Colorado, musmuki, Tocon, Coto Aullador, Pichicos etc. Lodge return. Typical music performance. Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 4:
Cumaceba Lodge –Paiches, Caimans, Victoria Regia.
Breakfast. Amazon trip to visit a private Arapaima gigas- Paiche conservation project (The  largest fresh- water  fish in the Amazon River.biggest of the Amazon River). Caimans and Victoria Regia, lily pads. Return to Cumaceba Lodge. Lunch self service. Tour in canoe with paddle special for Photos. Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.

DAY 05:
Cumaceba Lodge – Iquitos.
Breakfast and canoe ride for piranha fishing (and other species such as cat fish and sardines).   Visit a small village to know their way of living. After which we will return to  Lodge and have a typical lunch.   Back to Iquitos and to the end of your trip to Cumaceba. Reansfer at hotel or airport.
